The Concord Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) is inviting volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help us prepare our Resource Center and historic building for the future. Our 100+ year-old building has served the community for decades, and now we need your help to give it the care and attention it deserves.
During this hands-on volunteer project, you'll help us tackle a long-overdue clean-out and refresh that will make our space safer, more organized, and more functional for the people we serve every day.
Volunteers will work alongside CCEH staff to:
Clear out the basement by sorting and removing accumulated items from years of use
Load a dumpster with materials that can no longer be used, helping make space for building maintenance and improved storage
Deep clean areas of the Resource Center so the space remains welcoming and dignified for guests accessing services
Assist with light outdoor work, such as yard cleanup and small property maintenance tasks
No special skills required, just a willingness to help and a readiness to get a little dusty!
Every day, CCEH's Resource Center connects people experiencing homelessness with critical services, support, and a place to feel respected and safe. By helping us clear, clean, and organize our space, volunteers directly contribute to creating a more efficient and welcoming environment for our guests, staff, and volunteers.
Your work will also help prepare the building for needed maintenance and improvements that allow us to continue serving the Concord Community.
You can expect:
A meaningful team-based volunteer experience
The satisfaction of seeing visible results by the end of the project
The chance to support a mission-driven organization working to end homelessness
A little hard work, a lot of teamwork, and plenty of gratitude from the CCEH staff!
Whether you're an individual looking to give back or a group that enjoys hands-on service projects, this is a great opportunity to make a tangible difference in just a few hours.
Join us and help clear the way for a stronger, more welcoming Resource Center.
