Description

We are looking for a group of individuals to assist us with beautifying our outdoor location, providing fresh vegetables for our summer campers, and a welcoming entrance into our workshops.

Our second job is helping us unload a van full of food for our girls, each week the girls take home a bag full of healthy items for their family, and the families get to choose various items from our pantry.

Volunteer Should Provide

Gardening -Each year we have been fortunate enough to have the organization provide funds to support the purchase of flowers, herbs, tomato plants and cucumber plants, and soil. Whether that is with funds for us to purchase prior to the event, or the organization purchases and brings them with them. We have several ground level beds (4) and hanging boxes (5) that we fill each year. Wear something that can get dirty, bring garden gloves, hand tools. For the NH Food Bank - need to be able to lift 10 to 25 pounds, unloading the van, and then unboxing the items.

Agency Will Provide

Gardening - providing the space, if funds are provided we will purchase and have items here. NH Food Bank - we will provide markers for crossing off the bar codes, have a van full of food ready to be unloaded, and put away. Coffee, tea, pastries, and fruit to be provided.
