Community Partners owns a residence called Tideview that houses a person with developmental disabilities in Somersworth. He is an avid gardener, but his garden system needs to be updated and made more accessible. The team now would like to revive and return the garden to a place of outdoor enjoyment and personal accomplishment for the individual we serve. Please join us to create a wonderful three season outdoor experience for this gentleman who finds great joy and satisfaction in gardening.
Together with our maintenance team, volunteers would assist with:
- Removing over-growth such as weeds and small trees
- turning and preparing the soil
- spreading woodchips
- repairing raised beds
- repairing the fence
