Opportunity:

Volunteer Drivers Needed to Help Seniors Access Medical Care

Description

Want to do more to create a positive impact with your free time?

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties is looking for volunteer drivers to help older adults get to the medical appointments they need. Many seniors in our community no longer drive or have limited access to reliable transportation, and just a few hours of your time each month can make a meaningful difference.

Volunteers get more satisfaction out of their service than those they help. As a volunteer driver, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, brighten someone’s day, and help older adults maintain their independence, dignity, and peace of mind.

You can choose trips that fit your schedule, making this a flexible way to give back to your community. Training and support are provided.

Ready to make a difference? Contact Kathryn at 603-225-1989 ext. 1203 to learn more or sign up.
