The Lancaster Community Garden (LCG) has been going strong for well over 10 years providing green space for individuals and families to grow and harvest for their pantries and tables. We are seeking an enthusiastic group of individuals to come help insure that our LCG can continue to provide for our community for years to come by helping us with some light carpentry work and refurbishing some of our raised beds in need of some TLC. At this time of the year there are plenty of other tasks, however, if swingin’ a hammer isn’t quite your thing:
-Setting out the lawn chairs and furniture.
-Setting up the rain barrel for the season.
-Hooking up the hoses for the season.
-Weeding and preparing beds for planting.
-Expanding the wood chip walkways between the raised beds.
