Opportunity:

Lesson Assistant Volunteer

Description

Lesson Assistant Volunteers are typically seen in the barn and arena helping with our lesson horses and students. Volunteers will work alongside students as they learn to brush and tack horse, or will prepare horses prior to lessons. Then, volunteers join students in the riding arena as needed to assist our BITS lesson instructors. We need reliable volunteers to ensure each of our kiddos' lessons are a success! Training is provided, but horse experience is always a plus!

This is an ongoing need. Most volunteers commit about three hours each week at the barn, coming on the same day/time each week. (For example, every Thursday from 2-5pm) Scheduling is flexible! We always have a need for a few more helping hands.
