Barn Chores Volunteer

Description

We are actively searching for volunteers to join our wonderful crew! From our barn chore volunteers, we need help measuring grain, feeding hay, turning out horses, scooping stalls, and other necessary tasks in keeping our herd of therapy horses (and donkey!) cared for. 


This position would ask volunteers to commit about three hours each week to help us achieve our mission.

Volunteer Should Provide
Volunteers should make sure to wear proper barn attire and bring any personal items needed. - Boots or closed-toe shoes are a must. These must be fitted to you foot without possibility of falling off; this means Crocs and Hey Dudes cannot be worn during time at the barn. - Long pants are preferred - Be sure to bring water, a lunch (if needed), and sun protection  
Agency Will Provide
BITS ETC will provide all necessary equipment and training to help volunteers successfully navigate our campus and responsibilities.
