Opportunity:

Help End Homelessness in Concord

Description

The Concord Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) is looking for motivated volunteers to pitch in at our Resource Center and Emergency Winter Shelter to help spruce up our exterior and interior spaces.

Did you know that an average of 45 people experiencing homelessness or in imminent danger of becoming homeless use our Resource Center on a daily basis?

Depending on weather and volunteer group size, CCEH has loads of opportunities for folks to get their hands dirty! Our Resource Center building is in desperate need of a glow-up inside and out, from power washing to window cleaning, gardening and low-level landscaping, and inside for deep cleaning and organizing of our in-kind donations.

Since January 2021, CCEH has helped over 100 individuals find permanent housing: currently, CCEH provides supportive housing services for over 50 households in and around the Concord area.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our community, and the compassion and dedication from our volunteers on Day of Caring and throughout the year!
