Granite YMCA Camp Foss: Prepping for Summer Camp Season Away from the Office!

Description

There are always projects to accomplish prior to opening an overnight camp for the summer season where hundreds of girls will enjoy summertime in an outdoor setting. Come spend four hours at Camp Foss where projects will likely include opening/cleaning camp buildings, raking trails, and sanding/painting picnic tables and smaller buildings.

Volunteer Should Provide

Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, work gloves, clothing that might become soiled, and rain gear as needed. We also suggest bringing a hat, sunscreen and bug repellent.

Agency Will Provide

It will be our pleasure to provide snacks, water and lunch for our volunteers. We also will have sufficient tools and equipment on hand but understand that sometimes volunteers have a favorite tool. If that's you, feel free to bring it along and use it!
