Opportunity:

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive - Concord

Description

Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect the goodness and compassion of their postal customers, who participate in the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation. Led in NH by the NALC, Granite United Way, NH Food Bank, and community partners, this event is especially critical in Merrimack County, where 9.8% of the general population and 13.8% of children experience food insecurity - both slightly above the state average.

Join us as we sort and pack up the food donations collected by the letter carriers in Merrimack County and prepare boxes to be picked up by the NH Food Bank for distribution to local food pantries.
