Opportunity:

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive - Concord (Shift 2)

Description
Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers across more than 10,000 communities come together for the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, the largest one-day food drive in the country. In New Hampshire, this effort is led by the NALC in partnership with Granite United Way, the NH Food Bank, and local community partners.
In Merrimack County, food insecurity impacts 9.8% of residents and 13.8% of children, making this event especially critical for families in our community.

Volunteers are needed to help:
-Sort and organize donated food collected by letter carriers
-Pack and label boxes for pickup by the NH Food Bank
-Prepare donations for distribution to local food pantries

Your support helps ensure that food donated by postal customers quickly reaches neighbors who need it most. Join us for a hands-on volunteer experience that directly supports hunger relief efforts across Merrimack County!

This registration page is for Volunteer Shift #2 (3 pm to 5:30 pm).
