Marie, like so many seniors, was taken advantage of, in her time of grief and desperation. After the death of her husband, she had to downsize one year ago without help from friends or family. The moving company did not properly set her up for success or transition. Totes are still stacked ceiling high in the dining room and the sun porch seems to be the place where they put furniture that they didn't feel like moving down the hallways. Her home is quite beautiful, but you cannot see its beauty in its current state. Help Marie feel at home in her new town and neighborhood. Cheer her up and embrace her space.
