The Wetlands Walk includes a 1/4mile wheelchair accessible boardwalk, 2 paths, a side trail and streambank. Tasks include: painting, sweeping, cleaning surface of algae/lichen/moss, trimming vegetation, removing invasive plants, minor carpentry and other needs that emerge after this is posted. Parking is close to boardwalk.

We need volunteers to help prepare our trails for the hiking season. This includes refreshing trail blazes, cutting back along the sides of the trails with clippers, and clearing fallen branches.
We are also looking for volunteers to help clean-up our gardens. This would involve raking, cutting back any leftover plants from the fall, possibly mulching as needed.

A fun and productive activity outdoors to rid areas of Oriental Bittersweet and other invasive plants. Volunteers often feel great satisfaction when pulling out long roots and large masses of weeds. It can be dirty and physically challenging, but that adds to the sense of accomplishment. Groups and individuals are welcome.

In this bucolic setting on Halfmoon Lake, we invite volunteers to help with setting up our low and high ropes courses, prepping the paintball course by making minor improvements to obstacles and structures, and assist with brush and leaf removal. Depending on Spring weather, there might be other projects, too.

Join the Mayhew Program as we clean up Mayhew Island to get ready for the boys to arrive at camp. Mayhew challenges and helps at-risk New Hampshire boys to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best. It is the only all-boys program in the state that combines school-year mentoring and a residential summer program for at-risk boys, tuition-free, through high school graduation.
