  coastal ecosystems. During the cleanup, we will work together to remove ma
 rine debris from the shoreline while also collecting valuable data on the i
 tems we find. This data helps us better understand the types and sources of
  debris impacting our region and informs future conservation efforts, educa
 tion, and advocacy. All ages and experience levels are welcome, and on-site
  training is provided. Your participation directly supports hands-on conser
 vation and helps keep our beaches cleaner and healthier for wildlife and ou
 r community\n\nOpportunity Type: Individual and Team\nLength of Type: \nReq
 uired: Please bring non-disposable gloves (gardening, thin winter, or outdo
 or work gloves are preferred) and a reusable water bottle. We recommend wea
 ring layers appropriate for the weather and comfortable, closed-toed shoes.
 \nSupplied: Blue Ocean Society will provide all necessary supplies for the 
 cleanup, including trash bags and data collection materials. Staff will be 
 on site to give an overview of the cleanup process, explain how to collect 
 and record debris data, and answer any questions. Volunteers will also have
  access to hand sanitizer and guidance to ensure a safe, organized, and imp
 actful cleanup experience.
